The VIU Powell River campus is situated at the corner of Nootka Street and Quadra Avenue.
By public transport -
By ferry: If coming from Vancouver Island, you will arrive at the Westview Ferry Terminal. Continue up the hill through the lights. This is Westview Street. Turn right at the first stop sign onto Joyce Avenue. It is five blocks to Nootka Street. Turn left onto Nootka. The campus is two blocks down on the left. Enter through the main building.
By bus: The #2 Grief Point city bus stops at the VIU campus on its northern route and its southern route. Check the BC Transit Powell River website for specific times.
By car -
Remember that the streets in Powell River are organized alphabetically. Nootka Street is between Massett and Oliver Street, off Joyce Avenue.
